Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

Rate of pay: £12- £14ph + holiday pay
responsibilities:
Prepare and execute culinary dishes to the highest standards, following menu specifications and recipes
Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
Train, supervise, and motivate junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
Maintain impeccable standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Contribute creative ideas and insights to menu development and innovation
Monitor and manage inventory levels, assisting in stock rotation and ordering as needed
Take proactive measures to minimise food wastage and optimise kitchen efficiency
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a reputable restaurant or hotel
Culinary degree or equivalent qualification from a recognised institution
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen operations
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
Passion for culinary excellence and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences
