Chef de Partie - Southampton

We are looking for an experienced CDP to join a retail / leisure complex based in Southampton, they serve fresh food, and they are looking for someone with a passion for hospitality to help with preparing, cooking and presenting food to a high standard

Key Information:
Salary: From £24,705
Hours: 38hr contract. 2-week rolling rota/schedule, flexible working required - hours typically 7.5hr (weekday)/8hr shift(weekend)
Location: Southampton
Contract: Permanent

Chef de Partie Responsibilities:
To ensure the food preparation and presentation meets the required standards
To keep all working areas clean and tidy
To supervise and motivate the team when required
To comply with hotel's health and safety and food safety legislations
To monitor portion control, fresh food, and dry store orders

Required skills include:
A good understanding of produce and ingredients
Experience in the kitchen and passion for hospitality
Basic knowledge of food production methods
Embrace new ideas and processes
Positive and approachable manner

In order to be successful:
Experience as a Chef de Partie
Experience with high volume fresh food
Dedicated to and passionate about the hospitality industry
A strong leader who can motivate the team
