The organisation is built upon the knowledge of working across the the following sectorsLeisureResidentialLocal authorityHealthcareSustainable living ProjectsThey are committed to providing a professional, high-quality service on all projects and believe that meaningful dialogue, accurate and early cost advice, collaborative working and proactive cost monitoring and reporting are essential to the successful delivery of a project.Job DescriptionMeeting clients to determine their needs and discuss any areas that need revising for price or feasibilityCalculating material quantities and costs, labour costs and an achievable project timeframeNegotiating labour contracts and schedulesAdvising clients and crew on legal matters and disputesMonitoring subcontractors, safety practices, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact costsPreparing labour and supplier accounts for paymentWriting reports detailing costs and progress for clientsRequirementsA Masters degree in Quantity Surveying or a related fieldRICS qualifiedrbal and written communication, including active listening for determining client needs, communicating them to the construction crew and preparing reportsMathematics for calculating material quantities and construction costsCustomer service for client satisfactionAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingUnderstanding of engineering science, construction and technologyUnderstanding of current building, health and safety regulationsComputer literacy and confidence using office and electronic project management programs.JBRP1_UKTJ
