We have one of the largest dedicated team with decades of cumulative experience in sustainable design, fire and life safety, façade engineering, commissioning, building performance, waste management, environmental consultancy, carbon management and acoustics.Key ResponsibilitiesDue to the continuing success and growth of our UK team, AESG are seeking a Chartered Fire Engineer to support the growing Fire Life Safety and External Wall Advisory divisions and work alongside our other specialist disciplines. The role will be to support the successful delivery of UK and international projects, working with project team Engineers and Senior Consultants throughout all project phases, whilst also including independent project management of complex design and construction projects, covering all aspects of Fire EngineeringThis role requires you to be a Chartered Fire Engineer and will be able to provide support / conduct PAS 9980 risk-based assessments and EWS1 to our clients in addition to traditional FLS design and engineering services.AESG has developed an industry-leading software assessment tool using the PAS risk assessment methodology and our market reach is growing. We seek a motivated leader to guide the development of this tool into a probabilistic risk assessment platform with a wider aim to support industry standardisation.This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Chartered Fire Engineer seeking a leadership role within a growing and ambitious company with a unique service offering.The Role Will Include:Assist with leading the team and working closely with clients to ensure an exemplary level of qualityContinuing the growth and development of our Fire & Life Safety and External Wall Advisory offering to the UK and international marketsWorking with our multidiscipline team to ensure coordinated outputsExecution of Strategy, Business Development and Commercial ManagementThe Ideal Candidate Fits the Below Profile:Expert understanding of fire engineering principalsExperience in numerous complex and prestigious projects across the UKStrong communication skills, a thought leader in the industryMotivated and self-driven (entrepreneurial outlook)Committed to technical excellenceGood relationship builder (internal and external)Chartered Fire EngineerAS 9980 risk-based assessments and EWS1 experienceExcellent technical knowledge in Fire Safety/Engineering within Residential, Commercial and Hotels sectors.
