The Chartered Building Surveyor role

The successful Chartered Building Surveyor will be instrumental in delivering professional services across the consultancy's extensive portfolio.

The role is designed to support the consultancy's commitment to excellence and innovation in the construction industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing a full scope of Building Surveying services across multiple sectors, ensuring all projects are completed to the highest standards.
  • Engaging in both new build and refurbishment projects, from initial conception through to completion.
  • Offering expert advice on property and construction matters, leveraging extensive industry knowledge to benefit clients and projects.
  • Playing a key role in the consultancy's business development efforts, identifying new opportunities and contributing to the growth of the business.
  • Supporting and mentoring less experienced team members, particularly Assistant Building Surveyors working towards their APC.

The Chartered Building Surveyor

  • Chartered with MRICS, demonstrating a strong commitment to professional development and adherence to industry standards.
  • Experience across a wide range of sectors, including commercial, residential, education, care, office, life science, retail, and leisure, showcasing a versatile skill set.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver projects successfully, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
  • Ambitious and forward-thinking, with a clear desire to progress within the consultancy and take on increased responsibility.
