Heritage PS Talent Solutions are thrilled to be working in partnership with an award winning and well established accountancy based business in Leicester to recruit for an experienced Charity Audit Senior to join their Audit and Accounts department team on a full time, permanent basis.

Main duties of the Charity Audit Senior role:

• Conduct and execute audit and independent examination tasks across various entities, encompassing unincorporated charities, charitable companies, charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs), and corporate groups with trading subsidiaries.
• Generate financial statements for charities using software and Microsoft products.
• Mentor and assist trainee accountants in their assignments.
• Provide exceptional customer service, surpassing client expectations, and promptly addressing all ad hoc queries.
• Stay abreast of current technical knowledge by attending relevant training, conferences, and seminars.
• Efficiently and profitably manage all tasks in compliance with company procedures.

Requirements of the Charity Audit Senior role:

• ACA / ACCA qualified
• Audit experience for a minimum of three years
• Have a thorough understanding of the Charities SORP
• A minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role
