Job Title: Change Manager

Permanent

Location: Sunderland

Pay: �58,000 per annum

Purpose:

To partner across the Business to provide change management expertise and leadership in order to facilitate and guide the Group, managers and colleagues through organisation change and transition, ensuring that change is implemented smoothly, in the right way and drives adoption.

Bringing a structured, integrated and organised approach to the management of change aligned to best practice methodologies for project and non-project activity. Ensuring disruption is minimised, employee engagement is enhanced, achieving a successful outcome for organisation change.

Principal Accountabilities:

Responsible for the leadership and delivery of change management activities and initiatives ensuring seamless transition and minimal disruption.

  • Creation and leadership of the Group's change management approach & framework ensuring alignment to best practice methodologies (primarily PROSCI) and to each stage of the project lifecycle as needed.
  • Efficient and effective mobilisation of change management strategies in line with the

Group's framework including:

  • Case for change
  • Success metrics
  • Stakeholder analysis and mapping
  • Change impact analysis and assessment
  • Communication planning
  • Resistance identification and management
  • Change adoption
  • Change management planning and execution
  • Sustainment of change
  • Risk management and mitigation

  • Provide training and coaching as needed in relation the Group's change management approach and tools in order to upskill managers and colleagues across the Group to drive change adoption locally. Creates and delivers change leadership and change training to different audiences based on requirements.

Job Description:

In collaboration with the Business measures and monitors change adoption through agreed KPIs and recommends strategies as needed to address any issues and or risks.

  • Establishes and leads the Group's change network (Salesforce Trailblazers, Change Champions & Change Leads) with the objective of ensuring effective feedback mechanisms, tailored change planning and risk identification and mitigation.
  • Provides advice, guidance and feedback in relation to change management activity and support to the Project Lead/Sponsor and others as needed.
  • Remains current in relation to change management best practice and evolves the Groups approach, tools and techniques based on this and organisation maturity.
  • Collaborates closely with project management, training, communications, IT and Business colleagues to ensure there is a holistic approach to delivery.
  • Provides reports and updates as needed to the Group's PMO or other groups as needed in relation to change management activity.
  • Ensures all change management activity is aligned to the Group's policies, procedures and frameworks as needed.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Degree qualified in a change management, business or organisational psychology discipline (or equivalent)
  • A recognised change management qualification or training (or equivalent experience). Experience in PROSCI is desirable.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of change management approaches and methodologies (ideally PROSCI)
  • Demonstrable knowledge of project management methodologies and their practical application
  • Experience in being involved in a range of complex change projects - Business and IT with multiple workstreams is essential.
  • Experience in managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in successful delivery of change activity and projects on time and achieving change adoption / success metrics.
  • Demonstrable experience of identifying and managing interdependencies between change activities.
  • Experienced in developing and maintaining a positive teamworking environment.
  • IT skills / Windows 365 / Microsoft project
