CDM Principal Designer

GMP Recruitment are proud to be supporting a leading national consultancy seeking a Principal Designer to join their office in the Leeds, Yorkshire region.

This is a full-time permanent position where the Principal Designer will be experienced in their field and have a strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022 regulations.

My client has an extremely positive & supportive work environment and are seeking a Principal Designer who will be supporting them on commercial, retail, and residential projects across the nation.

CDM Principal Designer main duties:

⦁ Carry out Principal Designer duties under CDM Regulations
⦁ Collate and distribute Pre-Construction Information
⦁ Attend project design team meetings
⦁ Assist Designers and Clients with their duties under CDM Regulations
⦁ Review Construction Phase Plans
⦁ Raise F10 notifications behalf of the Client

CDM Principal Designer skills & experience

⦁ Experience & knowledge of CDM Regulations
⦁ Experience carrying out Principal Designer duties
⦁ Knowledge of the Building Regulations
⦁ Hold an IOSH membership
⦁ IOSH membership
⦁ Hold a NEBOSH certificate
