CCTV Installation Technician

Grantrow Recruitment are looking for an experienced CCTV Installation Technician to join the team with our prestigious client around the Nottingham Area. Our client supplies to well know car manufactures, steel companies and the police to name a few. The successful candidate will be delivering security and safety solutions to the commercial and retail sectors covering fire, CCTV, intruder alarms and access control.

Details of Security Installation Engineer:

• Salary: �35,000-�38,000 per annum, depending on experience
• Location: Nottingham - must be willing to travel
• 20 days annual leave + bank holidays
• Hours: TBC
• Full time, permanent contract

Responsibilities

• Carry out primarily the installation of security systems (CCTV and Intruder Alarm's)
• Work to a quality/safe ethos such as SSAIB, NSI and H&S competent with accurate documentation
• Support the client's contracts in the commercial and hospitality industry, supporting them with reactive calls, on call via rota system, fault finding and repairs as necessary
• Work in a variety of different environments including commercial and industrial
• Install CCTV, access control, fire protection, intruder alarms and manufacturing controls

Requirements

• Good communication skills, timekeeping and customer service skills
• Minimum of 2 years installation experience
• Full, valid driving licence (maximum 6 points)
• A positive security screening and clean disclosure report
• Ability to work as part of a team of Engineers
• Conversant with SSAIB/NSI requirements
• ECS/CSCS - good knowledge of H&S requirements
• Willingness to travel (minimal working away)
• Attention to detail and work of a high standard, ensuring all necessary paperwork is maintained
• Knowledge of intruder alarm systems including Galaxy, Texecom, Orisec and HKC preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of CCTV such as Videcon, Hikvision and Dahua preferred but not essential
