Delamere Forest Golf Club, in the heart of rural Cheshire, are currently seeking a catering services provider/catering franchise operator to take charge of the day-to-day catering requirements of our circa five hundred members, as well as their guests and visitors to the club.
A host venue to regional and national championships the club features highly in national, Top 100, rankings on a regular basis (95th in Great Britain & Ireland).
Established in 1910, Delamere Forest Golf Club has always offered an excellent dining experience, whether for casual, daily snacks or for lavish functions (our dining area can seat between 70 and 100 covers).
We are currently looking to partner an entrepreneurial catering individual/team on an in-house basis, or catering business wishing to diversify, to continue to serve our membership to the exacting standards they have come to enjoy.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work rent free with no utility costs. All major operational equipment is purchased, owned, and maintained by the club. Current turnover per year is circa £160k with the potential for this to increase.
Working with our House team you will employ a team of catering and waiting staff to ensure an excellent service is given to our members and visitors to the club. Hours of work vary throughout the year and depend on how many golf and social functions are scheduled. The successful applicant will have: - A Flexible approach to working hours.
Proven experience within the Hospitality sector (5-7 years minimum) with a history of designing and developing menus aligned to customer needs.
Knowledge and understanding of all legislation impacting on the catering provision - COSHH, Food Safety, EHO, health & safety and hygiene regulations.
Exceptional knowledge of all aspects of catering operations, including VAT, budgets and margin control, ability to forecast food requirement and food and labour costs.
The ability to monitor and maintain consistent food standards and quality across all areas during all stages of production and delivery.
You will collaborate closely with our Secretary, and our House Manager to plan for upcoming societies and functions.
