Our Client is seeking a Catering Assistant / Mess Steward to join their team within a Local Government Department. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to enhance their knowledge and skillset, applying them on a daily basis in a developing professional environment

This is a Long-term contract of 15 months fully office based in the Lincolnshire area.

As a Catering Assistant/Steward you are responsible for the competent delivery of food & beverage services alongside bar, reception, and accommodation management duties.

Essential skills & requirements:

Shift working patterns between daily servings of food.

Daytime & Evening functions

Bar services

Reception & accommodation management duties

Cash handing and operation of EPOS (till)

Stock taking

Background in Hospitality & Catering

Having worked in RAF / Army / Navy / Prison services
