Job DescriptionOur clientEntrepreneurial, fantastic DIY online companyFantastic opportunity, with lots of accountability and exposure.Growing companyThis Category Manager role is ideal for forward thinking individual, who has excellent attention to details and category strategy experience of leading range reviews.The role:The Category Manager will be responsible for leading range reviews focused on driving performance of own brand, developing specific product ranges to meet market trends.As Category Manager you will manage the end-to-end ranging process including range rationalization, new product development to range execution.As Category Manager you will conduct range reviews to identify gaps and product opportunities and will develop strategies to maximize ranges.Ideal candidate:You will currently be working as a buyer or category manager within retail or manufacturing but must have excellent analytical skills and strategic thinking.It is essential that you can demonstrate a passion and a flair for commerciality along with fantastic negotiation skillsWorking as part of a team you must have excellent relationship building skills you will be able to communicate and influence with stakeholders.As Category Manager you must have good insight and data analysis skills and be able to action opportunities to drive profit.
