Are you ready to be part of something exciting and transformative in the automotive industry?�



We are recruiting for a Category Manager on a two year fixed contract basis.



Our client is a dominant player in fuel systems and aftermarket distribution�across the Commercial Vehicle (CV), Light Vehicle (LV) and Aftermarket sectors.�



It is an automotive parts manufacturing and technology leader with a goal of producing carbon-free combustion.



We're on the lookout for a passionate Category Manager to champion our client's product portfolio. This role involves�devising competitive range/price offerings, gaining competitor data, enhancing their offering, and coordinating their pricing process.



In return, the company will offer you a salary of �38,000 - �48,000, a bonus, 25 days of holidays, up to 9% pension contributions, and hybrid working (2 days in the office).



You will be a savvy market analyst who can comprehend the ins and outs of the competition and keep up with market trends. You should be customer-centric and deeply understand who your customers are and what they value. In essence, you'll be their customer expert.



You'll adapt their go-to-market strategy within the region, define and implement an action plan to seize sales pipeline opportunities and lead the launch of new products into the market.



You'll implement regional communication and content marketing plans and craft region-specific materials and content to boost customer engagement. You'll also develop promotional plans to increase brand awareness and market share growth.



You'll drive revenue and profitability results and ensure market share growth for the category. This involves understanding critical financial and economic indicators, defining and owning the region's price position, and leading the regional annual price review.



You'll also be involved in demand planning and continuous improvement. Your expertise will be instrumental in supporting the demand forecasting process and training and empowering customer-facing teams.

You're a great communicator, skilled at juggling multiple tasks simultaneously, and comfortable working in a small team. You're organised, responsible, proactive, and always brimming with fresh ideas. Flexibility is your middle name, and you're always ready to assist in various projects. You're confident, have a "can do" attitude, and love thinking outside the box.



Ideally, you will have an automotive aftermarket or automotive background. However, if you come from a similar industry where you have to manage hundreds of part numbers across multiple product groups, that will be great!
