Job Title: Hook Loader Driver

Position Overview:

Driver Hire Peterborough are looking for a skilled Hook Loader Driver (RoRo) for a Temp to Perm position.  You'll operate hook loader vehicles (8 wheel) to collect and transport waste materials to disposal sites safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate hook loader vehicles to load and transport waste materials.


• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.


• Follow routes and schedules for timely collections and deliveries.


• Ensure waste materials are securely contained during transportation.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid UK driving license with Category C entitlement (HGV Class 2)


• In-date CPC and Digi cards.


• A clean driving record, with no more than 6 points and no DR, DD, or IN convictions for insurance purposes.


• Previous experience operating hook loaders.


• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Benefits:

• Competitive hourly rate  -£13.50 ph plus holiday pay (£15.13 ph inclusive)

• Minimum 10 hour shifts per day
