Career Teachers are looking to recruit a bank of seasonal Exam Invigilators to work within a cluster of Secondary Schools across the Wolverhampton area for the May- June 2024 examinations. This is a temporary, seasonal role, and is perfect for those seeking flexible, ad-hoc and part time work.

Hours of work will vary depending on examination requirements, with work offered in various secondary schools, so flexibility is essential. Previous experience as an exam invigilator is desired but not essential as we offer FREE exam invigilator training.

As an Exam Invigilator, you will be required to working within a team of invigilators, helping to deliver a range of GCSE and A level examinations. You will be responsible for overseeing and supervising examinations and to ensure that guidelines and regulations are followed as specified by the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ). You will work closely with staff members to pick up the exam material prior to the exam, distributing the material to students, supervising the exam for the duration of the scheduled time, and return all exam materials to the exams officer at the end of the allocated time.

All applicants must have an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one, be able to provide a minimum of 2 x references to cover the last 2 years of employment history and pass all other compliance checks.
