Securitas, a global leader in security services, is actively searching for an experienced individual to join our Fire Division as a
Casual Duty Fire Safety Officer
to cover staff sickness/shortage working shifts including days, nights and weekends.
This role will be on call to attend site and act as first responder to any fire activations and be responsible for management of fire evacuations onsite within a managed Buildings and Estate in Canary Wharf.
About the Role
First responder to any fire activations within managed buildings or the Estate.
To liaise with the Fire Safety & Environment Manager and the Building Management teams thus ensuring that the necessary action is taken to comply with current Health and Safety legislation.
Principal point of contact with attending Fire Brigade Officer in Charge.
Provide leadership and management of fire related evacuations of any of the managed buildings and Estate areas.
Maintain a thorough knowledge of the fire strategies for all managed buildings and Estate areas.
Be aware of all the fire safety features provided and their purpose and implications of altering the agreed cause and effect.
Be aware of any specific fire risks on the premises.
