Caretaker

Location: Liverpool

Hours: Monday to Friday

Duration: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £11p/h

Responsibilities:

• Perform general caretaking duties including opening/closing buildings, porterage, room set-ups, litter picking, minor repairs, and cleaning tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
• Conduct minor repairs or maintenance tasks as needed, promptly reporting any major issues to the appropriate authorities.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, promoting a secure environment for all occupants.
• Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes or additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Possession of a current enhanced DBS including child disclosure is mandatory.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and occasional Friday shift changes.
• While prior experience in a school setting is preferred, it is not mandatory.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.

Note: This position offers the opportunity for the candidate to apply for an extended period beyond the initial temporary assignment if desired.
