A national charity based in Halifax are looking for a Care Manager to join their team with immediate effect.



In this role you'll lead by example, ensuring compliance with quality standards, conducting audits, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver personalised support plans.

What will you be doing as a Care Manager?




  • Devising, coordinating, and conducting auditing programs and robust monitoring to ensure compliance with quality standards and service delivery

  • Collaborating with staff and multidisciplinary teams to support the completion of assessments, support plans, and paperwork

  • Ensuring the physical environment meets individual needs, providing advice on improvements, and utilising assistive technologies effectively

  • Chair team meetings, maintaining a cooperative team spirit, and ensuring personalised services tailored to individual needs and preferences

  • Developing partnerships with stakeholders and maintaining company’s excellent reputation

  • Ensuring all standards and requirements are met across the service and share information appropriately with the Registered Manager

  • Providing direct support to individuals, fostering trusting relationships, promoting self-esteem and emotional health, and empowering individuals to express needs and make decisions



What do you need?




  • Previous experience in providing support to people with learning disabilities

  • Diploma level 2/3 or equivalent social care qualification

  • Previous experience in managing a staff team and devising duty rotas

  • A passion for delivering warm, compassionate care to those in need

  • The ability to organise and plan efficiently and effectively
