We are looking for a
Care Home Catering Assistant
to join our client's team in Hampshire!
The role of a Care Home Catering Assistant
Food preparation and cooking of meals: Help prepare, as directed by the line manager, the required number of food products.
Following specified menu/special dietary requirements.
Serving/customer liaison: Under supervision and direction serve food and drink where appropriate, speedily, courteously and following specified portion.
Kitchen cleaning rota and general washing up.
Complete cleaning duties,
Follow daily and weekly rotas, to ensure health and safety and hygiene.
standards are maintained.
Put away deliveries as instructed.
Ensure correct stock rotation and quality control guidelines.
Ensure adherence to health and safety, food safety and hygiene procedures.
Pay:
Weekdays - £11.84 per hour
Sundays - £17.74 per hour
Bank holidays - £23.67
Shifts:
Day shifts - Need to be flexible as overtime may be required.
Skills (Required)
Physically able to lift service and kitchen equipment.
Previous experience working within a catering role
Skills (Desirable)
Dementia awareness
Front of house meal service
