Job summaryFollowing our recent organisational restructure, we bring an exciting opportunity for a compassionate, inclusive experienced nurse leader to join our senior leadership team in a new role as the Care Group Director of Nursing for Integrated medicine!Why Now?Rated by the CQC as outstanding for well- led, you will work as an integral part of the triumvirate to lead cross site and integrated services at our acute hospitals based on the Stoke Mandeville and Wycombe General hospital site alongside BNRU at Amersham Hospital, the role will cover 3 Trust sites. These services include the Emergency Department, Endoscopy Units, Cardiac retrieval, and stroke units at as well as ambulatory services, Inpatient Wards, and Clinical Nurse Specialists.Why Us?We are on an improvement journey! Education, Qualifications and Training

EssentialRegistered with the Nursing and Midwifery CouncilMaster's Degree in Nursing or health related field or evidence of working at this levelDemonstrates evidence of continuous professional developmentManagement/Leadership qualification or proven track record in management/professional leadership roleSafeguarding Training Level 2Recognised teaching/Assessing qualification

Experience

EssentialDemonstrable consolidated experience in nursing and senior nurse rolesExperience of leading and managing a range of departmentsExperience of working and influencing at a senior level and leading a team or serviceExperience of communicating to a wide range of people at operational levels of an organisation, to include sensitive issues; contentious material; complex mattersExperience of developing collaborative working within teamsDemonstrable experience of implementing and managing change effectivelyUnderstanding of NMC/HPC Code of Practice and requirements of it for the practice and behaviour and its applicationDemonstrable experience of effective budgetary managementThorough understanding of Management of COSHH and Health and Safety
