The following criteria are essential for this role


  • Proficiency in using Rostering Systems within the Health and Social Care Sector
  • Understanding of the scheduling process in the Health and Social Care Sector
  • Ability to match Customer Requirements with the appropriate Care and Support Worker
  • Office Administration experience, including typing, letter writing, and filing
  • Working knowledge of quality control procedures within the Health and Social Care Sector
  • Exceptional people skills with a commitment to providing outstanding service
  • Effective negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent IT skills, including Database Management
  • Enhanced DBS check

What will your role look like?


  • Proactive scheduling of staff to ensure optimal care delivery
  • Supporting business growth by managing referrals from local authorities and other commissioners
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities
  • Accurate set-up of Client information into PeoplePlanner
  • Collaborating with the branch team to ensure adequate capacity
  • Active involvement in the recruitment process, including interviewing
  • Maintenance of Client and Carer files and managing renewals
  • Ensuring compliance with CM2000 and managing worker log-ins/outs
  • Conducting 1-to-1 Care Worker supervision and annual appraisals
  • Providing timely reports on care hours delivered and forecasts
  • Managing initial disciplinary investigations and associated actions
  • Quarterly telephone monitoring and analysis
  • Printing and distributing documentation for service users, including visit sheets
  • Administration of Care Worker payroll, expenses, and mileage sheets
  • Proactively planning to address new business opportunities, especially private pay
  • Regular communication with Care Workers to offer support and address concerns
  • Attendance at meetings with local authorities and internal meetings
  • Completing and forwarding the weekly capacity report to Commissioners
  • Collaborating with colleagues to cover unallocated care calls
