Capital Actuary

Job DescriptionWe are working with one of the top BPA firms in the market to add a Nearly/Newly Qualified Actuary to their team.You will be working as part of an exceptionally high calibre team in a fast paced and dynamic environment, providing commercial insight and advice to key teams within the business.Responsibilities:Provide advice and analysis on the impact of potential new transactions.Assist the further development and ongoing calibration of the Internal Model.Production of assumptions and methodologies.Assist with stress-testing and scenario analysis of the balance sheet.Produce forward looking analysis which may be of interest to Senior Management, advising on possible actions.Support the ongoing monitoring of metrics e.g. MCEV, IFRS, SCR.Skills & Experience:At least 3 years of experience within Life Insurance.Newly or nearly qualified actuaryStrong technical, functional and analytical skills.Minimum 2.1 University degree in a STEM subject.Location: LondonSalary: £60,000 - £80,000, plus strong bonus.Please note, should you not be contacted within five working days of submitting your application, then unfortunately you have not been shortlisted for this position.
