Job Description

Are you a child, systemic or arts psychotherapist with experience win CAMHS? Are you looking for an exciting new locum position? We're working with an outstanding NHS Trust in Harrow who is looking for an individual to take on responsibility for the assessment and treatment of patients allocated to them within the context of the multi-disciplinary CAMHS Under 5s team.

You will deliver therapeutic interventions to parents and their children under 5 within community children's centres, especially focused on brief parent-child psychotherapy. This may also include brief parent work

• Group work
• School observations of children
• Short term generic CAMHS input
• Video work
• Brief specialist infant mental health psychotherapy
• Consultation
• Offering teaching and training and joint working with multiagency colleagues.

You must be able to provide an efficient, effective, comprehensive and specialist early intervention assessment and treatment service for children under 5 with highly complex and persistent infant mental health problems and presentations beyond ordinary developmental expectations, their carers/parents and families within care pathways as relevant.

The ideal candidate will have recent NHS experience, enhanced DBS and must have right to work in the UK.
