We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Project Officer to deliver Climate Action Middlesbrough, an initiative to engage Middlesbrough’s communities in taking action to address the climate crisis. The project works with partner organisations and the wider community to develop community leadership and support changes locally including at a policy, environmental, community and individual level.You will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of Climate Action Middlesbrough including supporting the Project Coordinator, leading on our schools offer, supporting the work of internal and external partners, planning and facilitating events, and supporting the collection and maintenance of accurate information.With a sound understanding of the climate crisis, you will have previous experience of delivering community-based projects and have the ability to engage with children & young people, community groups and organisations. You will possess excellent communication and organisational skills and have a commitment to a community-led approach to addressing climate change locally.Interviews will be held on Friday 23rd June 2023.The closing date for this job is 20 June 2023 - 5:00pm.Sandy Flatts Lane, Acklam, Middlesbrough, TS5 7YN
