Calibration Engineer

Our client, a leading global technology company specializing in electronic measurement solutions are seeking an experienced Calibration Engineer on a permanent basis. Based primarily on-site at their Telford service centre, with occasional on-site work at customer locations, you will be responsible for the calibration, validation, and repair of electrical/electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to ensure functionality and accuracy.
Key responsibilities:
Perform calibration, validation, and repair of electrical/electronic, mechanical or analytical test instruments.
Conduct routine tasks following prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require judgment.
Solve technical problems of varying scope and complexity related to test and calibration processes.
Understand customer requirements through effective communication, both face-to-face and written.
Travel to customer sites for on-site calibrations (less than 25% of the time).
Requirements:
Certifications as an electronic/electrical technician with relevant calibration experience.
IT skills, including proficiency in Windows and Office applications.
Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Ability to confidently address customer inquiries and anticipate problems.
