CADCAM Programmer

On behalf of our client we are looking to recruit an experienced CADCAM Programmer ideally with a background in 3/4/5 Axis CNC Machining. The successful candidate will have a strong background programming offline using CADCAM Software (All software experience will be considered as transfer training can be provided). It would also be beneficial if candidates have experience with Fanuc based controls as most machines in the workshop are Fanuc based. This is a permanent role in a company with a strong reputation in Engineering. A friendly Engineering team that can offer some support and training to the right candidate. Our client has a varied order book and therefore programming and machining work within the business is interesting and varied day by day. Providing machining services to variety of industries including Rail, automotive and MOD, our customer is growing and looking to invest into the business and its staff moving forwards.

CADCAM Programmer

• Programming offline using CADCAM Software


• Setting and operating a variety CNC Millers 3,4,5 Axis


• Supporting other machinists to ensure work is caried out on time


• Experience interpreting Engineering Drawings


• Work to tight tolerances and inspection of own work


• To work to your own initiative and understand manufacturing processes


• Editing programs using Fanuc controls at the machine

• Days 07:30am- 4:30pm Monday to Thursday- Friday Midday finish
