Job Title; CAD Technician

Salary; �30,000 to �38,000 per annum depending upon experience

Shift Pattern; Monday-Friday days

Location; Nuneaton

Our client are a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of commercial glazing products to the construction sector across the UK. They are involved in a vast array of projects including residential accommodation, public buildings and retail premises. They are looking to strengthen their in-house design team by appointing a CAD Technician

The CAD Technician Role;

• Produce CAD designs for curtain-wall systems, commercial glazing and cladding systems.


• Designs to be used as the basis for pricing, scheduling, programming and project management.


• Attend design meetings with external client.


• Liaise with structural engineers.


• Issue RFI schedules.


• Produce design reports.


• Prepare schedule of materials required against the design.


• Work with Contracts, Project and Site managers to ensure production and delivery of design and associated information on time as required.

The CAD Technician Candidate;

• Previous, recent experience in a similar role within glazing, curtain walls, facades etc.


• Proficient in AutoCAD


• Excellent written and verbal communications skills


• IT literate with knowledge of MS Office and in particular Excel


• UK driving licence�
