CAD/Survey Technician

Ensure designs meet project requirements

Supporting input to project plans

Identify areas of concern during any project or study

Produce cost- effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value

Address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution

Undertake surveys, both onshore and offshore

Our Design Engineers can expect to work in a modern environment in a fast-growing company. Ensuring best practice in all areas of system construction, installation, testing and commissioning.

Determining customer requirements and objectives and assist in developing specifications for projects / systems to ensure customer requirements are met.

Offshore surveys will be required

Ideally:

Enjoy team working, will be customer and quality focused, can use their own initiative and will be responsive to our business and client needs supporting all aspects of MCDR campaigns.

Have a HND or similar in a relevant subject and previous experience in detail design and design checking with an understanding of other disciplines.

Have experience 3D modelling of piping, supports and equipment using AutoCAd Plant 3D

Be experienced drafting Isometrics and pipe supports using AutoCAD 2D

Experienced in cloud scan data management and carrying out 3d laser scanning
