As a Bora Draughtsperson, you will work in a role that produces 2D/3D procedural and fabrication drawings to aid projects from FEED study's through to As-builts. We are looking for a Draughtsperson to join the London office-based Engineering department: a working environment consisting of highly skilled and enthusiastic employees.As a Draughtsperson you will play an important role in supporting the Engineering Function by producing high-quality drawings in compliance with our internal processes and relevant industry standards. You will be responsible for reviewing and checking of technical drawings for accuracy and assist in improving the drawing office library and standardised drawings. The position would suit someone who is willing to learn on the job and contribute to the success of our business.The position is based in our new office at Battersea Business Centre, London. We offer a hybrid working setup where employees can elect to work from home on certain agreed days of the week.REWARDS AND BENEFITSCompetitive TermsOn-the-job training with hands-on experienceContinuous mentorship throughout your journeyFlexible working environmentBeing part of a small but growing diverse teamYOUR DUTIES & RESPONSIBLITESProduce seafastening design and fabrication drawings.Develop structural design and fabrication drawings.Update vessel deck layout drawings.Modify offshore worksite field layouts.Update drawings based on markups, verbal, or written instructions.Create Layouts, drawings, charts, graphs, or diagrams based upon information provided by engineering and operational staff.Prepare drawings of systems or project features from sketches and marked up prints.Design and create piping drawings of structural elements.Drawing creation using company templates.Producing drawings for subsea project delivery.Supporting the drawing office in development of processes and drawing templates.Supporting other Draughtspersons when required.EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONSFormal qualification seen as advantageous.Excellent knowledge (2 years working experience) of Autodesk Products such as AutoCAD, Inventor and Vault.Detail orientated and able to work in a deadline driven environment.Good communication and interaction skills; fluent in English (both written and verbal).Good knowledge of Microsoft Packages.Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.Day to day you will be reporting to the Engineering Team Lead and functionally you will report to the Engineering Manager.Understanding of the importance of codes and standards.Experience in a subsea drawing office preferred.An understanding of Offshore Energy Industry would be advantageous.Experience of creating animations would be helpful.Learn more about Bora Engineering on
