People In Power are supporting a leading tier one EPC to deliver several 132kv & 33kv�cabling connection projects across London and greater London.



Our client currently turnover �200M, to continue their growth they are looking for an experienced civil supervisor to join our operational team based in varying locations across London.



Within your role you will be responsible�for the supervision of civils teams overseeing the operational delivery of civils activities such as substation base casting, trenching and joint bay excavation, duct installation and cable pulling on a variety LV, 11kV and 33kV electrical distribution projects.



You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, successful delivery of all scheduled work, to strict deadlines. Liaising with planners, operational delivery teams, customers, site agents, and the client to proactively manage all civils work aspects.



Responsibilities




  • Taking ownership of job from receipt to completion.

  • Allocate and monitor work given to teams to ensure they are compliant, safe and delivered on time.

  • Ensure that teams have the correct competencies to complete the task allocated to them.

  • Briefing of teams on the works prior to starting work.

  • Deliver toolbox talks to all staff and return completed sign off sheets.

  • Ordering/Delivering/Off Hiring/Collection of plant and materials to site.

  • Ensure the correct PPE and equipment is available to teams so they can complete the task safely.

  • Ensure the correct traffic management in place along with the correct NRSWA permits where applicable.

  • Ensure Starting and closing of NRSWA permits.

  • Attend site meetings when required.

  • Preparing Job packs including utility stats and checking they are up to date.

  • Carry out any other duties appropriate for the role.
