BWIC Supervisor

We are recruiting a BWIC Supervisor on behalf of our client, a Builders Work In Connection (BWIC) specialist, who have been supporting their clients since in the UK and Ireland since 1993.

The role will be based on projects in Greater London and the Northern Counties.

As the Site Supervisor, your primary responsibility will be to oversee day-to-day operations at one or multiple sites. Your duties include ensuring that all tasks are executed to the highest standards of health, safety, and quality, and are completed within the agreed-upon timeframes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising site operatives


• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, as well as client and company guidelines


• Adhering to contract scope and identifying and reporting any scope changes or variations


• Managing work according to Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS)


• Following the project schedule


• Creating short-term schedules for specific tasks or assignments


• Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks


• Notifying the client of any delays


• Managing the procurement and receipt of equipment and materials


• Communicating changes or updates to the client team members


• Addressing Requests for Information (RFIs) from the client


• Completing Daily Record Sheets and weekly returns

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Possession of SMSTS certification


• NVQ Level 2 qualification in Drilling & Sawing


• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role


• Certification in IPAF/PASMA


• Awareness of asbestos safety


• Strong understanding of health and safety protocols


• Excellent communication abilities


• Optional certifications include a 4-day First Aid Certificate and Temporary Works Coordination


• Possession of a valid UK driving license
