We are currently seeking a Buying Assistant to join our client's dynamic manufacturing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organisation that is experiencing significant growth. As the Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the procurement department in the day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities include:

Running reports and updating the CRM system
Contacting suppliers to ensure on-time deliveries
Creating purchase orders and managing call-off items
Managing document archiving and invoice control

Requirements:

Previous experience in administration or a similar role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with MRP systems is advantageous
CIPS qualification would be beneficial, but not essential
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Strong organisational and analytical abilities
