My client are a specialist roofing contractor supplying and installing a wide range of roofing and cladding systems across the UK. They work on student accommodation, high-rise developments, industrial, education, healthcare, and leisure projects throughout the UK.

They are one of the fastest-growing roofing contractors in the North West, having secured several prestigious projects. As a result, they have an exciting opportunity for a Buyer to join their team. While experience in the roofing and cladding industry is preferred, it is not essential.

As a Buyer, your role will include:

Negotiate and purchase materials with key suppliers
Produce cost analysis and ensure costing forecasts are adhered to
Raise purchasing orders
Monitor suppliers' costs
Ensure procurement of the materials
Establish strong relationships with suppliers
Negotiating, buying and purchasing materials at the best price and terms
