Buyer

An exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic self-motivated candidate to join an established business as a Buyer.

The successful candidate will ideally be from a Manufacturing/Engineering background.

As an experienced Buyer you will cover the following key duties

* Sourcing and purchasing raw material and new bids.

* Support engineers and production with NPI work

* Good understanding of engineering drawings

* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods,

* To collect and analyse data and report findings

* Resolving invoices and ensuring timely payment

* To maintain a MRP system

Key Skills

* Strong, confident, and professional communicator

* Analytical and proactive

* Advanced knowledge of all MS office applications, mainly in excel

* High level of accuracy in input work and keen eye for detail

* Leadership Experience

* Working with ISO5001/9001 standards

* Related degree MCIPS or equivalent

Salary up to £30k (dependant on experience )
Working Monday - Thursday 8.00- 16.45 & Fri 8.00-12.30
