You will be working closely with another member of the buying team, whilst working with other team members that will include the Estimating department, production and engineering related staff along with stores.The ideal Buyer will have as many of the following in order to strengthen application:- Previous experience working in a buying capacity within an engineering, technical and manufacturing environment.- Must be competent managing suppliers, order and delivery chasing, making sure goods arrive on time, source suppliers for bespoke items when required- Engineering/technically inclined mindset/background - desirable - Strong communication and numeracy skillsCommutable from: Basildon, Wickford, Chelmsford, Southend on Sea and surrounding areasIf you are interested in the Buyer role, please apply immediately due to the urgency of this role
