Buyer Location: Old Trafford, M16 0WJ Salary: GBP25K - GBP30K per annum, DOE + Benefits Contract: Full Time, Permanent. What's on Offer:

As a result of a restructure, we are now recruiting for a Buyer who wants to secure their career with a growing company. As our Buyer you will assume responsibility for:
Purchasing goods, materials, components or services, in accordance with specified technical, quality and delivery requirements Researching potential suppliers and verify key suppliers Negotiating contracts, to improve prices and terms of business with suppliers Making business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods Preparing purchase orders in line with final negotiations with selected suppliers and place orders as required. Coordinate with stores to ensure proper and effective stock control. Interface with other departments, stakeholders and Suppliers for all matters related to the procurement of materials, equipment and sub-contract services.
In order to be successful in this role you must have / be:
A minimum of 5 years' experience purchasing Materials & Components in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Experience in using Sage or a similar system, with knowledge of Manufacturing Requirement Planning (MRP) Advanced MS Excel skills/abilities. Experience of Quality Systems. Monitor and Forecast Stock levels
