Job DescriptionBuyer- Soft FM | Global FTSE 100 Brand | Midlands/ London or Hampshire 2-3 days a week£30,000- £38,000 + Hybrid + 6% matched pension + additional benefits Overview:A fantastic opportunity has arisen in a well-known FTSE 100 brand for a Buyer across Soft FM services to deliver across some of their key UK based accounts. This role is hybrid working with 2-3 days a week in either their Midlands, Hampshire, or London base. This role will report into the Head of Category Procurement and would be part of a large global Procurement function. What the role involves: part of the Sourcing & Category Management team within a global procurement function, supporting the delivery of sourcing and continuous improvement projectswith key stakeholders and Procurement category managerseffective sourcing strategies, run RFPs and successfully negotiate contracts for the supply of goods and services.performance improvement and risk mitigation from the supply baseworking on projects within the assigned category but may also work on projects outside the category, where required.and manage delivery of tactical procurement projects (Category Managers and/or Senior Buyers in the delivery of larger procurement projects (>£250k)and analyse business purchase needs and provide input to determine the best procurement strategy neededmarket analysis to identify and source potential suppliers, ensuring appropriate qualification and due diligence is completedefforts to determine and develop the RFx approach for supplier selectionRFx documentation and RFx evaluation models prior to RFx publication and publish the RFx to bidders whilst managing the RFx process (bidder questions, bidder submissions, evaluation & shortlisting)supervision, negotiate and agree best pricing and terms and conditions with selected suppliersand report savings in line with established Procurement savings methodologieswith and maintain productive working relationships with key business partners and suppliersThe person we hope to find Graduate calibre with Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business (or other related
degree) or CIPS qualified, or working towards CIPS qualification.At least 2 years’ experience working in a sourcing or buying role.Enthusiastic and quick learner with an aspiration to build a career in Procurement
