SUMMARY
Purchases materials according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms. Ensures purchasing activities align with corporate purchasing policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identifies new suppliers in cooperation with the relevant category team.
  • Qualifies new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering Specialists.
  • Negotiates agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions.
  • Adapts corporate contractual framework to the local business needs.
  • Recommends frame agreements to management and executes upon approval.
  • Analyse and evaluates bids.
  • Supports bid and proposal teams.
  • Tracks goods received to verify appropriate delivery and ensure invoice processing.
  • Oversees supplier performance.
  • Initiates Purchase Orders (PO) in the system and confirms delivery with suppliers. Monitor, and tracks supplier performance.
  • Aligns supplier orders with customer requirements in line with delivery, sustainability, and price.
  • Ensure the SAP Ariba platform is updated as defined in the procedure.
