This individual is responsible for the timely order placement, supply and expedition of raw materials, assemblies, and support services to maintain production at my clients site.

The roles and responsibilities for the role will be -

Preparation and distribution of weekly expedite reports to selected supply chain partners, ensuring that all respond, and data is entered into company ERP system.

Analyses exception messages from ERP system, and places Purchase orders ensuring cost effective timely delivery. Preparation of document packs in support of custom part order needs, (i.e., drawings, BOM's, Gerber files) ready to submit to supply chain partners.

Manage selected suppliers to control inventories and ensure timely flow of material.

Developworking knowledge of commodities and associated supplier base.

Develop a thorough working knowledge of required ERP system.

Bring ideas to management and be able to implement necessary process improvements.

The ideal candidate for the role will have -

A good standard of education, and IT skills.

Experience of purchasingcomponents or mechanical parts desired but not essential.
