The Role - Buyer, Scientific Instrumentation

Our client is looking to recruit a Buyer responsible for:

• Issuing purchase orders
• Ongoing procurement operations with all relevant suppliers: suppliers and internal customers
• Identifying opportunities for proactive and effective streamlining processes
• Analysis of market trends to identify potential suppliers and alternatives
• Managing relationships with suppliers
• Leading cost reduction projects
• Negotiating commercial contracts and engagements 

Your Background - Buyer, Scientific Instrumentation

To succeed in this varied and exciting role you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• MCIPS or studying towards it
• Commercial procurement experience
• Assertiveness and commercial negotation abilities
• High mastery of Excel
• Experience with SAP is advantageous
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
