Buyer - Leading Manufacturing/ FMCG Company

We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Buyer for our client in the Industrial / Manufacturing industry, located in the North London area. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar purchasing or supply chain role, have good systems experience, and excellent communication skills.

Description

Key responsibilities include:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate procurement deals to ensure the highest value for the company.
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast and meet organisational needs.
• Implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to industry and company standards.

Profile

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
• Strong knowledge of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse market trends and apply insights to procurement strategies.
• Proficiency in Excel and systems such as SAP.

Job Offer

On offer to the candidate:

• c.�35,000 plus package, including bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, private medical etc.
• Weekly early finish on Fridays at 3pm.
