Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate procurement deals to ensure the highest value for the company.
- Develop strong relationships with suppliers and manage their performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to forecast and meet organisational needs.
- Implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain and update records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices.
- Ensure all procurement activities adhere to industry and company standards.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience in a purchasing or supply chain role.
- Strong knowledge of the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse market trends and apply insights to procurement strategies.
- Proficiency in Excel and systems such as SAP.
Job Offer
On offer to the candidate:
- c.�35,000 plus package, including bonus, 25 days holiday, pension, private medical etc.
- Weekly early finish on Fridays at 3pm.
