Today, Fred Perry is a global community of over 370 employees, all inspired by the Laurel Wreath and what it representsPURPOSE:To manage the instigation and coordination of operational IT system development and administration while supporting end users and the organisation. Reporting to the Head of Business Systems and working closely with the IT Infrastructure and Networks Manager and the Systems Project Manager to take ownership of and manage Fred Perry’s IT operational infrastructure and software. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Understand and proactively manage the Fred Perry operational IT architecture. Provide a strong link between the IT that powers operations and end users. Cross-functional: working towards a set of shared, organisational-level goals To help all of us at Fred Perry use our IT effectively Research To identify, suggest, and implement IT ERP operational solutions that help drive the business forward. Researching and recommending future technology to enhance business operations Liaising with internal departments to determine IT needs and working with them to implement new technology successfully Run the Fred Perry CAB’s committee, coordinating and managing business change. Support Administers these systems day-to-day, providing support to end-users. Resolving IT issues as part of the wider IT support team Ensuring any required third-party specialist support is in place. Using a support desk to manage all tickets. Analysing support requirements and recommending remediations on repeat issues. Support documentation, videos, etc. to be kept up-to-date. All processes and new developments must be fully documented. Management Manages and owns the relationship between IT and third-party ERP support companies to ensure optimal service. Negotiates and coordinates new contracts and renewals. Manages the business systems operational team. (5 persons) Working with and coordinating with the wider IT infrastructure and network team. Ensures all new system development has been fully tested, test scripted, and signed off prior to implementation. Oversees software updates and implementation, ensuring system availability is not compromised. Schedules any downtime requirements with the wider business departments. Training Remains up-to-date with the latest software developments to determine how they can positively impact the business. Training staff to get the most out of operational IT, including providing training material as necessary. Looking at new ways to train and communicate with end users Security Ensuring the company’s cyber security meets industry compliance regulations and remains fully licenced for all operational software Keeping up-to-date with all GDPR rules and practices and applying them as required throughout the operational business systems. Ensuring all systems are updated with any software updates or patches that are required to keep Fred Perry data safe. Make certain any system development meets the required regulations. THE PERSON:Business knowledge Have excellent knowledge of computer operating systems and hardware. Technical understanding of how all the software links together and reliance's. (Architecture) Understand the operational flow across a fashion business that distributes wholesale, retail, and e-commerce globally.

HOURS:We actively encourage our teams to have a good work/life balance and so we are pleased to offer flexible working shifts at Fred Perry HQ. Our core shift hours are from 10am – 4.30pm and so employees can choose to start and finish early, or start and finish late. (i.e. work 8:00am-4:30pm, or 10:00am-6:30pm etc). We also have 30-minute early finish on Fridays.As we continue to work in a more flexible way, the Head Office acts a brand hub, where we can all connect and collaborate with one another. This role is a mix of office based (London) and remote working. We will expect the employee to come into the office regularly for face-to-face meetings and to work alongside their team on collaborative projects.
