Working for a group of companies specialising in supply chain and manufacturing solutions. We are looking for a product owner for business critical systems.
Product management of key applications – ERP, MES, CRM
Project management of integrations, implementations and any upgrade deployment
Ownership of business reporting infrastructure
Ownership of master data strategy and deployment
Generate and manage a Power BI model which pulls from multiple data sources to provide insightful self-service reporting
Manage core reporting tools across the key applications – ERP, MES, CRM
Develop specifications for reports where outside resource is required.
Understanding SQL from an implementation level.
Identifying improvements across the group where visibility of data would improve process.
Work with teams across the group on continuous improvement projects, investigate new software or hardware to improve efficiency.
Facilitate the implementation of system developments, working with the staff to define the specification, development and testing.
Travel across the group for onsite engagement with staff to understand individual site requirements, what is being used, what is required and what changes are needs to be made.
Investigate and understand current systems in use in newly acquired operations, create a plan, for improvement considering costing and risk assessment.
Implement and manage change management processes.
Facilitate documentation creation, to ensure data flow is mapped, process’s and best practice is followed.
Automate or simplify data flow between systems, to reduce the need for manual data entry and improve efficiencies across the group.
Understand data flow within the manufacturing ERP systems, MES systems and integrations with both common and uncommon applications.
Key skills required:
Excellent communication, communicate effectively with staff, contractors and the leadership team.
Able to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities
Project management, deliver projects on time on budget and achieving set milestones.
Detailed understanding of manufacturing ERP systems.
Power BI capabilities including creating and managing hierarchies.
Detailed understanding of Databases particularly Microsoft SQL Server.
Understanding of business process and data flow.
Report writing with SQL and Winman.
Knowledge of manufacturing systems including MES and quotation tools would be advantageous.
This is a permanent position, with a remote first working model. The position will offer a basic salary, car allowance and expenses to travel to sites when required.
