An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Southwark are on the hunt for a Business Studies Teacher / ECT for a September 2024 start. This is a full time and permanent post.

The current Business Studies Head of Department has helped the Business Studies Department grow from strength to strength. They've now got a perfect mix of young, experienced and Teach First Teachers. This is alongside multiple Business Studies graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3,4 & 5.

This Secondary School has produced some incredible Progress 8 results across KS3,4 & 5 and have created a fun and creative learning environment for students.

Experienced Business Studies Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more.

Newly Qualified Business Studies Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Business Studies Teachers.

• TLR Opportunities:KS3 & KS4 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
• ECTs welcome:1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more

• MPS1-UPS3 - �36,745 - �56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Southwark

PERSON SPECIFICATION - BUSINESS STUDIES TEACHER / ECT

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Business Studies Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
