This role will work with senior leadership and partners throughout the Citi's Legal, Independent Compliance Risk Management, Securities & Regulatory Strategy & Policy to execute on various projects.The role will focus on enhancing the governance and controls framework for the transformation workstreams within Securities Services, supporting and reporting to senior stakeholders. This includes the oversight of the front office control processes over risk generating activities, as well as coordinating with independent control functions, audit, and external regulators.What you’ll doAs the Securities Services Transformation lead, the Business Risk Group Manager will be required to provide governance and oversight of Securities Services consent order transformation deliverables, working alongside Enterprise and Services teams to ensure stakeholders are kept upraised of progress, timely completion of deliverables and escalation in a timely manner.The role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact to achieve the objectives. The lead will apply in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions and will be generally accountable for delivery of a full range of services to one or more businesses/ geographic regions. The lead will demonstrate proven ability to work in high pressure environments, excellent organization, and planning abilities and will be involved in short- to medium-term planning of actions and programs. The selected candidate will appropriately assess risk when business decision are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgement regarding personal behaviour , conduct and business practices and escalating , managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards. The lead will also be responsible to develop procedural implementation and change management process with operations and reporting teams to ensure proper governance and controls and contribute to monthly/quarterly business control reviews and various control forums and Committee meetings as needed.Understand and implement enterprise-wide transformation requirements.Enhance first line oversight of transformation requirements across all Securities Services businesses.Represent Securities Services at Services and Enterprise-wide transformation forums and committee.Creating, launching, and managing Services wide integration, including at times development, issuance, approval, review, communication, and maintenance.Understand and coordinate dependencies with other Citi ProgramsEstablish Securities Services level metrics for transparent and accurate status updates.Manage and provide input in Securities Services governance, reporting, risk, and control forums.Support management in developing program plans to meet regulatory requirements, track progress, and monitor key risks applicable to Securities ServicesWhat we’ll need from youUndergraduate degree or equivalent experience required.Relevant work experience in Financial Services, governance, risk, and controlsHas the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.Risk based thinking and analytical mind-set.Excellent analytic and creative problem-solving skills, ability to leverage technology tools.Demonstrated ability to manage complex environment and processes.Demonstrated ability to work independently as well part of virtual teams to deliver on strategic outcomes.What we can offer youThis is a role that will offer you the opportunity to have a high level of exposure to different business lines, senior stakeholders, and management, which will give you the insight into each part of the business and what they are navigating so that you can drive your career to the next step.We work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve.
