Business Manager - Care Home

Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for a Business Manager to join a Nursing Home based in Chadderton, Oldham. This is a temporary contract for 2-3 months with potential to extend.Job Responsibilities:
* Accountable for all non-care/clinical aspects of a location and service provision supporting positive outcomes and meeting/exceeding customer expectations.
* Delivery of a service which is economically viable and where resources are managed effectively supporting a sustainable business model.
* Identifying and developing systems and operating procedures across the breadth of the home and using change methodologies to embed them.
* Responsible for ensuring there are systems and processes in place which support the Registered Manager to meet Care Quality Commission (CQC) essential standards, supporting customers in their daily living and improving the quality of their lives which are related to the effective and efficient running of the business
* Develop and embed internal governance systems, monitoring and assurance reports and systemsKnowledge
* Understanding of CQC essential standards and their impact in care management and practice.

* Health and Safety legislation.
* Marketing.Experience
* Previous people management experience.
* Experience of managing a budget and working to a business plan.
* Knowledge of a care setting and the needs of older people.

* Experience of working in a customer focused environment.
