Business Leader - Premises and Estates

Great Oaks School and Rosewood School form part of the Specialist Schools Trust (SST). We are looking to appoint a Business Leader - Premises and Estates to cover all our sites. Great Oaks School is a secondary special school for pupils with learning difficulties and Rosewood Free School is a specialist school catering for children with severe or profound learning and physical disabilities aged 2-19+. The schools occupy multiple sites in Southampton.The post holder will be accountable to the Headteachers of Schools in the Trust.Responsible to:Headteachers of Schools in SSTContract:52 weeks 37 hours per week24 day annual leave plus Statutory Bank Holidays)Salary:In the range of:£44,428 - £48,474The purpose of the role is:To provide high quality leadership and management of the Trust’s operational and Health and Safety functions, including line management of site staff, to enable the Trust to run smoothly, effectively and efficiently in the delivery of the Trust’s core aims.The post holder will work as part of the Business Leadership Team and will work in close partnership with the Chief Financial Officer and Business Leader – HR and AdminThe post holder will be line managed by the Headteachers of the TrustTo lead the promotion of high standards of Health and Safety practice across all sites ensuring that the Trust meets all its statutory and regulatory duties to staff and pupils.Closing Date: Wednesday, 22nd May 2024The Specialist Schools Trust are absolutely committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our learners and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
