Job Description
BI Analyst-12 month FTC-£40,000-£45,000-Bristol 3 days a week onsite
An FTSE 100 Business based in central Bristol is currently expanding and is looking for a BI Analyst to join them on their journey.A huge Facilities maintenance business, they’re a UK leader in their field. Housing over 70,000 students across 25 cities in the UK, and are going on an impressive technical journey.
The role sits within the Insight & Analytics team, supporting the wider business and understanding their information needs. You will produce innovative, user-friendly dashboards which convey meaningful and actionable results and will be recognised as a data visualisation expert. This role reports to the Senior Analytics Manager.
Responsibilities:
Develop and present high-quality, aesthetically appealing Tableau dashboards for informed business decisions.
Support Insight & Analytics projects from scoping to delivery.
Proficient in Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools, and coding in R, Python, or similar languages.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in gathering stakeholder requirements and presenting technical findings to non-technical audiences.
Comfortable working as part of multi-capability teams for various projects.
Passionate about data analytics, with a desire to learn and stay up to date with industry best practices.
Able to work autonomously with relevant tools and direction.
Beneficial experience includes data science/statistical analysis techniques, working knowledge of SQL, awareness of UX principles, and usage of structured and unstructured data (e.g., data warehouse/data lake).
