Business Improvement & Implementation Manager A new and rewarding opportunity is available within the division of Medicine & Therapies for a highly organised, productive and enthusiastic Business Improvement & Implementation Manager, who will support a dynamic leadership team for a large remit of cross-site specialty medicine services.Suitable for an experienced Service or Operational manager with a track record of successful transformation of services and process improvement, the successful applicant will have outstanding communication, analytical and time management skills. They will be resilient and industrious, establishing strong working relationships with the divisional leadership team to deliver key priority projects under the direction of the divisional director of operations.Demonstrable experience and understanding of Cerner systems and workflows, administrative structures and processes which support accurate counting and coding of activity, robust PTL management, and service and performance improvement initiatives are integral.Main duties of the jobThe post holder will work closely with the Divisional Director of Operations, Divisional Director of Nursing and Divisional Clinical Director to plan, operationalise and deliver priority service programme and business objectives in the division of Medicine and Therapies.The post holder will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of the division of Integrated Medicine's Cost Improvement schemes, elective activity targets, inpatient and outpatient processes, standards and the inpatient flow programme, amongst other key agreed service and performance priorities.The post holder will ensure delivery in accordance with accepted change and project management principles, and a range of good practice techniques and tools and structured management approaches which are relevant and proportionate.The post holder will actively engage with key stakeholders to ensure transparency across the programme portfolio, so that priorities are clearly understood and expectations proactively managed.The post holder will contribute to planning and development of longer-term strategic plans, which will impact across the division and organisation, taking into account a broad range of issues locally, regionally and nationally.The post-holder will take on a leadership role within the division to support and constructively challenge on the division's responsibilities to deliver quality, operational and cost improvement initiatives, including the pace and value of benefits realisation.About usLondon North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) cares for the people of Brent, Ealing, Harrow and beyond.Our team of more than 8,200 clinical and support staff serve a diverse population of almost one million people.We run major acute services at:Northwick Park Hospital: home to one of the busiest emergency departments (A& E) in the country. Appropriately assertive.Organisationally and politically aware, including the ability to lead and direct strategic groups and work across teams and organisational boundaries.Strong analytical skills. Able to analyze reports and complex administrative and clinical data and act on these appropriately.
