Job Title: Business Excellence Manager
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum
Location: National (Remote)
Are you ready for an exceptional career move? Our client presents an exciting opening for a Business Excellence Manager in higher education. In this role, you'll spearhead dynamic and mission-critical projects aimed at delivering top-notch services to colleges and universities. We're seeking an individual who can take charge of the Business Excellence program, collaborating with Heads of Operations, Contract Directors, managers, and their teams to elevate standards, efficiency, effectiveness, and commercial viability across our service contracts.
This is an outstanding chance for an inspiring and passionate Business Excellence Manager to leave a lasting mark on the contract catering industry, contributing to the shaping of the future operational model.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead key project workstreams
Gather and analyse data in partnership with finance and operations teams
Act as a sector leader for digital deployment and optimization in collaboration with Digital and Technology teams and operations
Identify opportunities to enhance sales, cost efficiencies, brand excellence, and operational delivery in partnership with operations
Define deliverables to support top-notch execution at the unit level
Serve as an effective link between the wider Business Excellence team and the Higher Education team to ensure targets and standards are defined, aligned, and met within agreed timelines
Achieve improvements in client satisfaction
Provide on-site teams with training as needed to ensure engagement and effective tool utilization
Support the Sales team in new business opportunities and proposition development
Qualifications:
Proven experience in leading and managing business projects aligned with core objectives
Strong IT skills, including familiarity with major digital platforms and MS Office packages, coupled with operational knowledge of networks, connectivity, and hardware
Quality-focused mindset, adaptable to working across various sectors
Excellent communication skills across all levels, with strong influencing and presentation abilities
A collaborative team player with a knack for building rapid relationships
Experience in understanding and managing P&L, budgeting, and forecasting processes
